The Peoples of Africa project is to provide an insight into the establishment of societies in the territories which were eventually brought them together to become various nation states of Africa. The project focuses on the manifestations of indigenous cultures in social and political structures and engagements; the complex cycle of ceremonies (e.g festivals, religious rites, funeral rites etc); the array of artistic expression (visual arts, dance, music, literature) and historical migrations of country ethnic groups. This project seeks to expose the African youth and the world to the rich African culture and heritage. The Peoples of Africa production would be made accessible to educational institutions and the general public through electronic media platforms and paper-back productions.
